The Universe

I asked my spirit guides, “What is the Truth of the universe?”

I saw the universe in all its complexity and simplicity. I saw the earth. I saw all the people, the trees and mountains, the oceans and birds, deserts and cities. 

I saw the sun and moon, the planets and stars. I saw the solar systems, galaxies and the whole universe.

I saw All That Is.

It started to shrink. It got smaller and smaller until finally, it was only a pinprick of light in a vast nothingness.

A hand reached out, the hand of God. It plucked the light out of the nothingness, and dropped it in a handbag. 

With a smile, God turned and walked away.
