Self-Guided Meditation: The Attributes of Spirit

I use this meditation often, sometimes for 5 minutes, sometimes for an hour. It’s very flexible.

For each statement I take at least two full breaths to allow time to see, feel and/or know it - but not enough time to allow my thoughts to drift.

The Light of Spirit surrounds me.

The Light of Spirit flows into me.

The Light of Spirit fills every cell in my body.

The Light of Spirit resides in me.

The Light of Spirit radiates from me.

I am grateful for the Light of Spirit.

Then I exchange “Light” for another attribute of Spirit:

Love, Peace, Joy, Compassion, Forgiveness, Abundance, Wisdom, Strength, Power, Perfect Health, Wholeness, Oneness and any others I can think of.

It’s a very calming, uplifting meditation for me.
