Why Meditate
For me, the greatest benefit of meditation is the way it led me to connect with both my spiritual self and my human self. I expected to find the spiritual with meditation. I did not expect to connect with the human.

Meditation. We’ve all tried it. We’ve all failed at it. It still occasionally sends a spike of panic through me. I’ve been practicing meditation on and off for 40 years. Most of that time I felt very unsuccessful.
